At least it wont stand out because there isn't really any direct evidence that the lack of backpressure is causing the problem. It may be making the problem a bit more obvious or shedding light on some other root cause, but for quite some time people have been going the "no backpressure" route on various cars/buildups/etc and this hasn't been a widespread issue by any stretch.
I have to default to Occam's razor until we know more.
